It is usual for young boys to go home at the end of the day covered in dirt because they are naturally naughty and curious. Normally, their parents would scold them because of the amount of dirt they accumulated throughout the day. However, some muddy kids from Wales deserve praise more than scolding after freeing a dog trapped in sinking sand.
Hayley Edgar, a resident in Conwy, was on her way home with her two daughters when she witnessed the kids’ heroism. A dog named Charlea got trapped in some sticky sand and could not pull herself out. Later on, Hayley posted a photo of the kids helping the dog and narrated what these boys did to save the poor dog.
In a Facebook post, Hayley mentioned how proud she was for what the little kids did. In the post, she said that if the boys were her kids, she would praise them for their heroism. Although the boys were muddy after the rescue operations, it was okay because it was a good cause.
Hayley then also explained the situation so that people would understand where she is coming from. In the post, she said that the mother of the poor dogs was panicking upon seeing Charlea struggling to save herself. It was the kids who scaled the fence to help Charlea.
The kids formed a human chain so they could provide a more substantial lift for the poor dog. Although the boys were appropriately dressed, they did not hesitate to jump straight in to save the dog’s life. According to Hayley, it was a scene to behold because she saw the young boys’ teamwork.
When the kids were successful in rescuing the poor dog, the dog’s mom immediately thanked them. After that, the kids left the scene as if nothing happened.
