Story of Homeless Dog that will Burst you into Tears
Dogs have been the sweetest little creatures for as long as you can remember. If you own a dog, you will still remember the day you laid eyes upon that perfect little fellow, and as soon as you saw it, you wanted to make it yours and never leave it.
Well, unlike many other people who went to the pet store to buy a dog for themselves or those people who got a puppy on their 12’th birthday, my case is not so similar.
Though I am one of you who laid eyes upon a dog and decided to make it mine, the thing is, my story will put you through a painful, “awe” inducing, and the lucky tale of me with my dog. I’m sure you all have memories to share and the memories with these cute friends are never forgotten but still leaving them makes your heart tumble up like a wrinkled paper. Enough of the talk let me tell you.
How I found my little Nova.
I was once walking through my building’s parking lot at night because I was home late and alone. I saw a box move in front of me. Well, normally if you see something unusual, especially at night, you would want to run away. My first reflex was almost the same, but a head popped out from that box. As soon as I saw that furry face, with puppy eyes lying on me, the cold shivering the hell out of that adorable soul, and the cardboard box making it uncomfortable, I couldn’t resist but take it home.
I took great care of the dog, and the collar on the dog showed me that it belonged to someone else, but my heart was satisfied as the owners abandoned it and now it was with me. Although I loved that fellow, I never grew as much close to it. I would not give it proper time, but in fact, I brought home a parrot and started to spend time with the parrot neglecting my poor Nova. Truth be told I didn’t even name it yet.
Out for a stroll.
One day, I was strolling through a park with the wind rustling the leaves through the trees with a pleasant breeze, and I decided why shouldn’t I bring my dog here. So I did, and even though it insisted me to play, I didn’t.
That’s when a little girl came by, and it started screaming, “That is my Blossom!, Mammy I found Blossom”. That is the moment my heart twisted and turned. Was she talking about my Nova? The girl said that it was her dog and they had to give it away and now she wants it back. With a heavy heart, I said Okay. But that is when the scenario totally changed.
Is that Her dog I wonder?
Nova didn’t go with the little girl that was loving it and stroking it. Instead, it stuck to my leg and wouldn’t let go. That’s when my eyes watered into tears, and my heart broke into a million pieces. I thought to myself “How could I ignore this cute eyed fur ball of joy. I should love it with all my heart.”
And that is when I named the dog Nova. My super Nova. The star that shines the brightest in the space. And now Nova is the star that makes my life shine the brightest on the Earth!
